Scam Alert: Faulty Car, No Refund, No Ac
Illegal business - requested a return of a vehicle I purchased from National Car Traders Ltd as the car is faulty and advised by mechanics that it is too expensive to fix compared to the value of the car. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They sold me a faulty car, then completely ignored me when I rejected it within 7 days — a clear legal right. No refund, no collection, no response. Just silence. He told me that if I was to reject the car then they would delay things as long as they could - I guess to punish me for using a dodgy car company or to convince me to let them repair it. They are knowingly breaking consumer law and scamming people out of their money. Avoid this place like the plague — they do not care about customers or the law. They’ve read every message I’ve sent and still refuse to reply — a clear sign they’re just trying to ignore their legal responsibilities. He’s agreed to a refund but refuses to collect the undrivable vehicle, leaving me stuck. The person I dealt with is listed as the company director on Companies House, yet claimed he was just a salesman — clearly trying to dodge responsibility.
