6 hours ago Avoid Personally I would exercise caution buying a vehicle from here. We paid over £25,000 for a vehicle less than 8 months ago. To date, in mechanics bills alone, we have paid approximately £3,200. The largest bill to date was £1,600 to a main dealer. This doesn’t take account of thousands of pounds of lost earnings due to the vehicles extended time in mechanics. We have lost so much faith in this vehicle that we have now had the wet belt changed at a huge cost. This vehicle displayed problems from day 1 when the air con didn’t work. Metro Cars did collect the vehicle to “fix” and although it was returned working. The air con leak was still present. The problems have got worse and worse. Serpentine belt, Alternator, Brakes, Steering pulley. Although initially helpful the last communication we had for them was to say ‘your warranty with us is long over’ ( 3 months) and “this will be our last email regarding this vehicle”. We are now referring this matter to the Motoring Ombudsman. We are angry and financially devastated. We wish we had never bought this vehicle.
