Good communication very helpful
At the early part of February this year my Mondeo Mark 4 business class 2014 developed some unusual problems. In the early hours of the morning at 2:00 a.m. the horn turned itself on and unlike the alarm which is intermittent the horn is continuous and blasted everyone in the road out of their beds. After about 15 minutes it turned off. Again at 4:00 a.m. it turned itself on again. You can imagine how my wife and I felt with neighbours looking from their windows and doors. Fortunately the neighbour next door came out with a pair of long nose pliers and removed the fuse. Following this little episode a number of other issues arose flickering lights and battery drain. Persevered with recharging every other day and looking for a garage that could fix it. Not many were keen as they felt it might take some time to diagnose. I'm pleased to say that Trust Ford in Coleraine took on the job and diagnosed that the vehicle needed a new body control module .The plug that that fitted into this module had burnt out. It took a little bit of time for them to find a suitable plug to fit the new body control module. The good news is I had my car back and they have done a really good job all the faults have disappeared and the vehicle is running very well just like new. They even valeted the vehicle before returning it. So thanks guys for your good work specifically Jack the workshop foreman and Matthew the auto electrician. Thank you again.
