AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Don't touch these guys with a bargepole. They sold me a Vauxhall Astra on the Tuesday and by the Friday it had broken down. I had to call out the RAC and their mechanic said there was a brake fluid leak in the master cylinder. He also said the master cylinder looked like it had been recently fitted based on how it looked and either hadn't been fitted properly or was a faulty part. My local mechanics said the same thing and that the leak was severe. When I was buying the car, I was given assurances that all cars were thoroughly inspected before sale. This is either a lie or a cover up, as the car can't have been properly inspected (if at all) or it was inspected and the car was sold to me with Motonet's full knowledge of the issue. The car wasn't fit to be sold either way. The staff on the phone are polite and friendly, which is shame because the manager/owner- Parr- is as corrupt as they come. That man has no integrity. He seems okay to begin with then turns nasty when you report issues to him. The car wasn't safe to drive and he refused to arrange for a recovery despite the advice of the RAC, two independent mechanics and my insurance company. I had to drive the car back to Coventry to return it. They then took as long as legally possible to give me my refund, which I received BY CHEQUE 3 days later than I should've. Do yourself a favour. Avoid these guys AT ALL COSTS if you want peace (and a reliable car). If I could give less than one star I would.
