Tesla model S
Hello. I want to warn those who intend to buy any car from this pseudo dealer... For a few days I have been in contact with the dealer regarding a Tesla model S - SK70YCX. The beginning was that through their website I received a message that I had a small chance of getting a loan from MotoNovo and that the application would probably be accepted if I paid a larger deposit with 11.9% APR. This was very strange to me because for 20 years I had 11 cars bought on finance for my business and I have never been refused a loan. I contacted my agent who in 5 minutes arranged a loan for me from MOTONOVO with an interest rate of 8.9% APR without any deposit. The price of the car was £30k. I contacted Lakeside Car and they agreed to prepare the car for collection the next day. After making a few calls I was assured that the car was in great condition both outside and inside, without any body damage, the general condition of the car was excellent. I said I would come by train over 200 miles and they agreed to pick me up from the station. Something struck me and I asked a friend to come with me. Before leaving I spoke to them and they confirmed that the car was ready. After arriving at the location, first impression from a distance of 20 meters, WOW. I started to inspect the car and so - The front bumper was painted (ok, I understand, stone chips), the front driver's door was painted, the whole car was covered in stains as if eaten away by chemicals that could not be wiped off, the front passenger door window seal did not fit the car, the left sill of the car sticks out by half an inch (the car was probably jacked up incorrectly and this was damaged), two different tires on the rear axle (one new, the other with mileage, the car is 4-wheel drive) Ok. Time for a drive - total lack of alignment, steering wheel turned to the right when driving straight, the car pulling to the right. During rapid acceleration, the right side suspension creaks, the guy stated that during rapid acceleration, the suspension should be set to low and not to auto, hahha. Overall, the car is terribly loud inside. After 30 minutes, he convinced me to go to one of the garages to have the alignment checked and adjusted. After an hour of waiting, what I saw there was a real circus. These people have no idea what they are doing!!! For half an hour they moved the car forward and backward, they couldn't unscrew the screw in the left rear wheel, so the guy started cutting with a grinder, then with a drill he drilled a hole in the panel that covers the suspension. They confirmed that they repair his cars there, so you can only imagine the condition of his cars. When I asked if I could see other Teslas that are for sale, he said that they were not ready for sale yet, and on Autotrader there are about 15 of them waiting for new owners. I wasted the whole day traveling 200 miles one way and didn't even hear an apology!!! Tomorrow a complaint will be sent to MotoNovo and trading standards to have this garage examined. I know it may not help because it is an independent seller but I will try. Avoid if you do not want to lose your money.
