Stay away: Scammer
Me and partner went to view a car, we found one we liked as it was a 7 seater for our family as we have 4 kids. We couldn't test drive on the day as our little girls were playing up. We asked if we could the following week if we left a deposit and he said yeah. We said if we dont like the car will we get the deposit back and he said of course you will, i know how hard it is to earn that money and i would not do you over like that. So he asked for a £300 deposit which we agreed. So my partner went back Friday with my mom and Dad to test drive the car. The car was not what we expected so she decided it was not for her. She told Mark and soon as she did his attitude changed with her. She asked for her deposit back and he said of course I will give it back but my son Adam deals with this so he will bank transfer it to you. I got home and my partner had a phone call from Mark saying he will not be giving us the deposit back. This really upset my partner because £300 is a lot of money and we really thought he was true to his word but he is not a man of his word. My partner sent him messages but he is saying the deposit is lost and we asked for the ad to be taken down. Not once did we ask for this. Not sure why he would take the whole advert down from the website, must be why he asked to be paid in cash. He asked for us to pay the car in cash if we wanted it, asked why cash and he said for vat reasons. They were his last words on that matter. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this place. I am so disappointed as he really seemed like a nice guy. Its disgusting how someone can treat people like that. Never ever will I buy a car from here and I urge anyone to please not go there. He has scammed my partner and seeing her this upset is heartbreaking. So please do not waste your time and look elsewhere and go to someone trustworthy. Makes accusations of reviews being false, they are not. Wish I read the bad ones first. Now my family has lost a lot of money.
