Sold me an illegal car

Bought a diesel from them, it was having a few issues so I asked them to take it in, clean the DPF etc. They told me the "DPF was sorted". I later find out the DPF was actually hollow - so they'd either sold it to me like that (which is illegal) or they'd hollowed it out when they "sorted" it - also illegal. I'm now faced with issues getting through MOT and god knows what else. Charlatans - do not trust!
