Did they deliberately shaft me?

I recently bought a 2017 BMW M4 competition for £23,000. I didn't see the car but I felt they were a trustworthy company. This was a huge mistake. Anyone who buys a BMW M4 with over 40000 miles should be aware that there is a problem with the turbos. As they age, they leak oil and you'll notice white smoke coming out the exhaust. The car I bought from them had the smoke and a warranty that is worthless. The warranty company made it impossible for my garage to be able to claim so I was landed with a £4,000 bill that I'm certain the garage knew about. I would urge people not to but a car from this company.
