Best avoided.
In February 2024, I purchased a low-mileage Aygo having put my Kia in part exchange. No Owner's manual was available, but "we'll send you one". .Straightforward transaction, I was assured that there was nothing to sign as "all that is done on line now." Six months later I received a DVLA notice claiming that I was the Registered Keeper of the Kia, which was uninsured and I was to pay a fine of £50. Despite protesting, DVLA was adamant and I had to pay. Much correspondence took place, and eventually Premier Toyota admitted that they were at fault and reimbursed me with the £50. My name is now with the DVLA as someone who had no insurance on a car he had sold six months previously with its whereabouts unknown. No apology, even from the sales manager who incidentally promised to send me an Owner's Manual. Unsurprisingly, that did not happen either. In fairness, their coffee is not too bad.
