New car

I bought a Mercedes C-Class from St James less than five months ago, and it comes with a three-year warranty. About three to four weeks ago, I noticed engine oil leaking from under the rocker cover. I called St James to get it fixed since it’s under warranty, but I had to contact them multiple times just to get the car booked in. I eventually booked the car for repairs at an approved garage, and they fixed the issue, but I was told the car needs a new spring link and prop shaft donut, which was quoted at about £700. St James claimed it's general wear and tear, which isn’t covered by the warranty. I've driven the car less than 4,000 miles, and the mechanic said this can't be general wear and tear when it’s only been 4k miles since I bought it. Those parts shouldn't get damaged so quickly. St James sold me a car with existing issues and won’t fix it under warranty. I dropped off the car at their approved garage for oil leak repairs, which took about a week, and I wasn’t given a courtesy car. I had to take taxis to work and back, costing me over £150 for the week, plus I have to pay £700 to fix the car myself. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying a car from them. If anyone still considers buying from them, please get the car checked by your own mechanic before purchasing. Their warranty is a total scam; they don’t stick to their word. I spent £15k on the car, and it broke down just after five months. They clearly sold me a faulty car and didn’t mention anything about it. I had a really bad experience with St James.
