ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE AVOID AVOID

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE FROM START TO FINISH, UNPROFFESSIONAL AND EXTREMEMLY INSULTING. I BOUGHT A CAR FROM ST CLEMENTS CAR, NICK THE DIRECTOR. HE AGREED TO REPLACE THE CAMBELT ON THE CAR AS I DIDN'T HAVE ANY DISCOUNT OFF THE VEHICLE. HE THEN MESSED ABOUT FOR 1 WEEK AND THEN MESSAGED TO SAY "OH IT DOESN'T HAVE A BELT IT HAS A CHAIN, WHICH HE WOULDN'T REPLACE" HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW THIS AS YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE TRADE "30 YEARS" ARRANGED THROUGH FINANCE, MADE SURE HE WAS PAID OUT REALLY QUICKLY AND ARRANGED TO COLLECT. 1 WEEK LATER A FAULT APPEARED ON MY CAR, SO I THOUGH I HAVE ONLY HAD IT A WEEK NICK WILL SORT IT HOPEFULLY, WRONG. HE IMMEDIATELY JUST FOBBED ME OFF TO THE WARRANTY COMPANY, WHICH I WASN'T GOING TO ACCEPT AFTER 1 WEEK. WHEN I CHALLENGED HIM ON THIS HE USED HIS FAVOUIRITE PHRASE HE SEEMS TO USE WITH EVERY CUSTOMER "I HAVE BEEN IN THE TRADE 30 YEARS" FOLLOWED BY A LOAD OF INSULTS. I WAS SHOCKED BY THIS AND REPORTED TO THE FINANCE COMPANY THAT I WASN'T HAPPY AND WASNTED TO RETURN THE CAR TO BE FIXED OR CANCEL THE AGREEMENT. NICK THEN DID EVERYTHING HE COULD TO NOT HAVE THE CAR BACK, AND EVENTUALLY HE DID TAKE THE CAR BACK. HOWEVER I HAD TAKEN PROOF AND GOT PHOTOS OF THE FAULTS BEFORE SENDING BACK. HE KNEW THE FINANCE COMPANY WOULD INVESTIGATE SO HE THEN PROCEEDED TO USE HIS OWN EQUIPMENT TO DELETE AND ERASE THE FAULT FROM THE CARS ECU. THE DELIVERY DRIVER CONFIRMED THE FAULT LIGHT WAS STILL ON WHEN HE DROPPED THE CAR OFF. MORE INSULTS FOLLOWED THIS. A WORD TO THE WISE DO NOT TAKE ANY PROMISES HE MAKES AS GOSPEL, HE AGREED TO REFUND MY DEPOSIT, BUT THEN DID A U-TURN 3 WEEKS LATER, HE WILL NOT KEEP HIS WORD. NOW BECAUSE ALL THIS HAD INCONVIENCED HIM, HE THEN STARTED HURLING HIS INSULTS, INCLUDING CALLING ME A "SILLY C#%T" AND OTHER OBCENITIES. WHEN THE DELIVERY COMPANY WENT TO FINALLY COLLECT THE CAR BACK, HE SAID "TELL HIM IF HE WAS CLOSER I WOULD DRIVE IT THROUGH HIS HOUSE" AND "MAKE SURE HE KNOWS II HAVE LEFT HIM ZERO FUEL. AS A LAST INSULT, HE REMOVED ALL THE SERVICE HISTORY FROM THE CAR AND THE LOGBOOK, LUCKILY I HAD AGAIN TAKEN PHOTOS. OTHER LOVELY THINGS HE HAS SAID TO CUSTOMERS, ARE "SAVE UP YOUR BENEFITS" AND "HOPE IT DOESN'T RAIN" THIS WAS DUE TO A CUSTOMERS WIPERS THAT WERENT WORKING. IN ALL SERIOUSNESS HE IS DECEIPFUL, HIDES THINGS MAKES FALSE PROMISES, AND IS EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. I STRONGLY ADVISE TO STAY CLEAR OF HIM. NOTE TO NICK- IF YOU EXPECT TO JUST SELL CARS, MAKE YOUR PROFIT AND THEN FOB PEOPLE OFF TO A TIN POT WARRANTY COMPANY THEN YOUR MISTAKEN.
