One to be avoided at all costs

Purchased a Jaguar S-type online after asking some specifics like does the boot leak or have any electrical problems, and being told no it doesn't. 6 days later the car arrives and guess what? It has a pool of water in the boot and electrical problems! Photos taken and reported to NE Cars who denied any responsibility claiming everything was fine when it left, despite consumer protections laws being pointed out. His only excuse was that it's an old car so it wouldn't be perfect, it may be an old car but it was sold with faults that should have been remedied before delivery! I see from his website he has resold the car after I took it back, I really hope the new owner checked everything beforehand, that goes for anyone buying from here, do not expect a pre-delivery inspection to be carried out before you drive off!
