Avoid This Dealership – Deceptive Sales

Avoid This Dealership – Deceptive Sales Practices & Altered Paperwork I had an extremely disappointing experience with Prestige Motor Company and their manager, Scott Singh. I purchased a vehicle that was advertised through the dealership on Auto Trader, only to later discover that Scott altered the paperwork to falsely claim it was a “private sale”—a clear attempt to dodge consumer protection laws. After buying the car, I took it to a mechanic within two weeks and found multiple serious, undisclosed faults, including an engine oil leak, intermittent boost issues, and worn suspension components. Scott had assured me in writing (WhatsApp message) that there were no other issues, which was clearly false. When I confronted them, Scott refused to take responsibility, despite clear evidence that the sale was handled through the dealership, making them legally liable. The paperwork was even backdated, which raises serious legal concerns. 🚨 If you are considering buying from this dealership, be extremely cautious, or even better DO NOT DEAL with these unpleasant unprofessionals. 🚨 They misrepresented the condition of the car, altered documents, and refused to take accountability. I am now pursuing legal action and filing complaints with Trading Standards, the DVLA, and the Financial Ombudsman. A trustworthy dealership stands by its sales and doesn’t try to deceive customers with shady paperwork changes after the fact. Learn from my experience—avoid Prestige Motor Company at all costs for your own mental wellbeing and financial wellbeing.
