AVOID evans halshaw walsall
🚩 1 Star – Absolutely Disgraceful Experience! Avoid This Dealership! 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 Evans Halshaw Walsall has been nothing short of a nightmare. 🚩They completely misrepresented the condition of the car I purchased, leaving me with an unsafe, faulty vehicle and no support when I needed it most. 🚩 I purchased a car from Evans Halshaw Walsall on 23rd November 2024, under the assumption that it had passed a 123-point mechanical and quality check, as they assured me. However, within 2 days, I discovered severe, undisclosed issues, including: 🚨 A dangerously faulty passenger seatbelt – The police stopped me in January 2025, and told me the seatbelt was illegal and not MOT-compliant, and that I had to fix it immediately. 🚨 Worn-out front brake pads – I was LIED TO by KIERAN NOOR that these had been replaced and it was a coding error on my BMW system, but my MOT failed, showing that both brake pads were dangerously worn, posing a significant safety risk. 🚨 Multiple other defects – These included broken glovebox, damaged speakers, insecure wing mirrors, misting headlights, a damaged driver’s seat, worn out wipers, and a dirty, unclean interior that had clearly not been valeted as promised. 2 keys were advertised and only 1 was given and was told by graham Lowe that this was a 'value car' so nothing can be done for a 2nd key. make it make sense...123 point inspection where? I reported these issues within the first 5 days of ownership, expecting Evans Halshaw to take responsibility and resolve the situation. Instead, they arranged for repairs 1 month later given that I'd receive a courtesy car delivered to my door and closer to the date no courtesy car was provided and I had to reschedule the repairs. Michael stamp claimed they tried to contact me but I am still waiting for an email response for repairs from Kieran Noor since 24th January 2025. I was misled into buying a car in terrible condition, and even after presenting the dealership with clear evidence of the issues, they did not prioritise to fix them or offer much assistance considering the car was in a dangerous condition. I was also told that the car had passed an extensive inspection, but it clearly had not. To make matters worse, when I attempted to get the car’s issues fixed, I was left without support, and the dealership failed to prioritise my repairs. I was forced to obtain an MOT which failed and my insurance is now void, and the car is unroadworthy, all because Evans Halshaw sold me a car with serious, undisclosed faults. This has been an absolutely frustrating, stressful experience that should never have happened. Evans Halshaw Walsall is completely irresponsible, and they clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction or safety. I am now having to escalate this case to the Financial Ombudsman and Trading Standards to try and get any resolution. I just found out on the 10th march from the BMW app that the battery in the car is near to failure and won't be able to start the car in extreme temperatures or with heavy loads and it needs to be replaced immediately. the problems just keep flooding in... I am yet to hear a response from Michael Stamp who seems to be avoiding my emails which I have been sending since 6th march. I want my money back and this car gone ASAP!! I strongly advise anyone to stay far away from Evans Halshaw Walsall. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and downright dangerous to work with. hopefully this review will get them to respond to me ❌ Do not trust them with your money or your safety. ❌
