terrible service, stay clear
I booked my major service
I booked my major service, MOT and air con re-gas for Monday 17/02/25 at 915am, I dropped my car in good time at 9am where I let thinking my car was in good hands,
At 11am I was called to say my car had not been looked at and will be don’t in the afternoon, at 2pm I got a message stating an engineer had been allocated to my car
Around 3pm I had not heard anything where I called to see what was happening as I would need to arrange to collect the car once done, I was told at that point that it was in the re-gas bay for my Aircon.
After a few minutes I rang back asking why it was being re-gassed before my Major service where all the re-gas lines would have been checked, I was told sorry I don’t know why it was done this way.
Around 510pm I was Called to say the car was ready but failed its MOT due to a headlight clip. Due to the time of day, I informed the lady on the telephone I would collect in the morning.
The next morning a went to get my car, it was handed over for me to find all my dashcam wires dangling, I went straight into the dealership to ask what had gone on, I was told due to GDPR it was unplugged, I understand but to leave all the wires dangling and not replaced before handing back to me is not right.
I drove my car straight to the headlight repair centre where I looked at the service book to find it had not been filled out or stamped, I left it right next to the locking nut in the glove box, so it was easily accessible, this was still not done.
At this point I could clearly tell and feel that no care was given to the car or service paid for, I wasn’t happy at all, I called the dealership who said sorry again and to bring the vehicle in again, I explained I have no time to keep going back and forth and I and having my headlight repaired and will bring it in as soon as the repair was done.
On Wednesday I arranged a retest the next morning Thursday, I collected my car and halfway home I was pulled over, it was explained that I have something hanging of the undercarriage of the car and should get it sorted immediately, I spoke to the dealership who apologised again and said it will be looked at in the morning, I asked due to everything that had gone on I would like to speak to a manger, I was told one would be there at 8am for me to speak to.
I arrived at 8am to find that no manager was on site as I was told would be, around 815/820am from what I recall the service manager came out, however he did not introduce himself as such I found this out after, he said rights what’s up? Not a way I thought a manager would start of by saying, I went through everything above where he kept trying to but in, which I found disrespectful, please do not ask me if you wasn’t prepared to listen, this went on where he said are you just her to shoot me down or what, I said excuse me, I just paid good money for a terrible service and you have asked me why I feel this way and why I’m explaining you are being loud and interrupting and your mannerism is terrible, I no longer want to talk to you, he went onto say that the belly plate was never taken off as the oil was drained through an access point. He also mentioned that the service was carried out before the re-gas this is the opposite of what I was told.
I told him I do not want to talk to you with your raised voice and aggression. And to leave me alone I would speak to someone else.
I was in disbelief with how I was treated about my concerns and that my car was given back to me worse than it came out.
While sitting waiting for my vehicle to be done I googled is it possible to do a full service and change filters on my car without taking of the belly plate, it was clear that it was impossible. I was told this wasn’t touched, so rather the Major service was not carried out or I was lied to, either way I am no wondering if the service was done correctly or if at all and I do not hold faith that it was done due to the comments made to myself and the way I was treated and lies or contradiction constantly told to myself.
I have no faith in works carried out of if they where in fact carried out,the customer service is completely terrible, trying to argue with customers who need to voice the concerns or faults
must be a sheer coincidence that the car goes into the garage and bits just like to fall of the day it comes out. disgraceful
