Avoid, avoid avoid!
We ordered a car from Cinch. Paid the £2k deposit, plus a "£99 admin fee", and all good. Given a delivery date of two weeks from purchase. Ok, not problem so far. One week before delivery we were told that it would have to be pushed back, because there was no second keys. Suddenly it was missing. Not sure how they didn't spot this before we ordered and paid for the car, but nevermind. I called and explained that we would need the car to be delivered for the originally agree date, and didn't care about the spare key - they can come back to us at a later date, and get it synchronised. I was told I would be given a call-back to discuss options. Three times I was promised a call-back, and three times I was let down. I had to initiate a call-back each time to try and chase this up, and each time they failed to have a concrete answer for me with regards to the delivery date. I made it clear that if the car was going to miss the original delivery date we had better cancel the purchase, as we would need to organise alternative transportation. On the day the delivery was supposed to happen there was still no update. I called in to find out what the delivery time would be. Put on hold. Passed to another team. Was eventually told that they would be unable to deliver the car today, but that they would be able to organise a hire vehicle. "Will it be here today?" I asked. "No." they said. My response: "Forget it then - cancel my order." Absolute p***take the whole way through. The people I spoke to were perfectly polite, and professional, but the company is a f**king shambles, and doesn't know what it's doing. Messed us about. Didn't return phone calls when they said they would. Took our money, but failed to deliver on anything else, despite being given a whole week and multiple alternative options. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
