Very unhelpful

My Kia Sportage requires a new Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor as confirmed by Wilko Motosave. I called Kia to see if this part is covered under the Warranty. Keeley in the Parts department could only say it "should bi". Whilst I can appreciate the need to perform their own diagnostic report before they can confirm if a repair can be done under the warranty that does not explain the vague response of "should bi". My question, if your report was to confirm that the EGT sensor was faulty, is it covered? The girls response over and over again was "should bi". The girl is very rude and not helpful in the slightest.
