Offered some good advice

Since I work in the trade myself, I felt that I could talk freely to Darren and have some good, straight conversations with him and on the back of it he offered some good advice. At the handover, I flagged a small issue with the heater at the back but as I've not got round to taking it out yet, it's nothing urgent. Plus he was reassuring and advised me to just give him a call when I'm ready to get it sorted.
