They were completely unwilling to negotiate on price, even though the car had not yet had an MOT, then when I bought it, the tyres needed to be replaced within the first month, costing hundreds more. After a month I discovered that the vehicle was not taxed, even though they supposedly did that in my presence. So I had been driving it illegal. I had just been bereaved and also had an accident writing my previous car off, so needed to get one quickly, but this just added to my distress.
