Here is my legal action taken towards idrive Dear IDrive, I am writing to follow up on my previous request regarding the mis-sold unsafe Peugeot 2008 registration number GRZ8384 that I purchased from your branch on October 30, 2024. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I have received no response and have been unsuccessful in rectifying the problem. Given the advice I have received from my solicitor and the Trading Standards Authority, I am compelled to inform you that we will pursue legal action if the matter remains unresolved by 5:00 p.m. today, Thursday, January 9, 2025. My solicitor has already initiated the necessary legal proceedings by commencing the form N244 and will subsequently complete the form N1 claim form. We are seeking a full refund for the sale of my Vauxhall Astra HJ09KVK, which you sold for £2500.00. This was misleading, as you had previously informed us that the car was to be scrapped. And gave us £300. We have all the necessary evidence to prove the sale and the amount received. In addition to the refund, we are also claiming for out-of-pocket expenses, including taxi fares to and from work for three days and an additional taxi to collect the damaged car from AM Autos. Furthermore, we are seeking compensation for the stress and unwanted expenses caused by this situation. We also claim damages for allowing us to drive over 500 miles to Scotland and back after false claims of repairs and servicing the car. All relevant evidence, including texts and calls, is attached to this letter. on November 2, 2024, we requested my car back Reg HJ09KVK and a full refund of the £4000.00 cash paid.
