Sue
Intimidated buyer
Right car move.....first impressions were great...then it gradually went down hill. First the owner, Sandy was incredibly patronising and didn't like being asked not to patronise. I never had a receipt for the purchase, only deposit receipt. I asked so many times that it became quite awkward. My car was serviced by them so that gave me peace of mind....that is until problems began! It was flagged up that the shock absorbers, disk brakes and pads needed replacing and the sensors were faulty. Not sure how this could be when they had it serviced, as the stamp showed in the service record book. To make natter even worse, the super warranty they issue as being fantastic, covering wear and tear etc, this was rubbish. On taking my car to a Ford garage none of the repairs diagnosed were covered and I was charged diagnosis fee. I then informed Andy at Right Car Move who was quite edgy and defensive. He 'told' me to get a second option and come back to him. This I did and sane diagnosis. Which he still wasn't convinced and 'told' me the car would have to come back. I'd already been inconvenienced by my car going into two different garages and time from work and now I was being 'told' it would have to be collected and repaired by them! The driver dropped the car he drove and took mine. Very patronising man who wasn't happy when asked not to call me love and was quite snotty after that. Car was gone 2 days and half the job done, car came back with sensors still playing up. And I was charged toll along with someone stealing confectionary from my car. Minor I know but unprofessional and leaving wrappers in the pack. They didn't fully cover petrol as promised and did not repair all issues. The second driver was asked what he'd put in the car petrol wise and you'd have thought I'd slapped him with the face he pulled. And thought it quite amusing things had been stolen from my car. However small that may be it was theft. I also, asked for a receipt for what I paid for the car and waited over 8wks and many time asking. Then when I got it, it was on a flimsy petty cash receipt. I informed Andy regarding the drivers attitude and the confectionary issue and was then blacked with insulting text messages. There really is no place in today's society for aggressive men and oppressive behaviour towards women and clearly what I experienced was out of date behaviour and merely demonstrated that this company doesn't match up to its first impressions. After having the car less than 8 weeks, having the problems it did and the subsequent attitude and behaviour, I would not recommend turn, especially if your a women! I was accused of 'slagging' them off. I did in fact leave a very positive feedback but have now felt that was a big mistake after my awful experiences and so now here is my true reflective feedback on that whole sorry experience. After I posted my review the dealer then came on and began making very personal commments and lies which just went to back up what I'd said. Intimidating women by putting down and aggression.
