Take the money and run

A good friend purchased a car from BR Leeds. Within a week the car was running very rough and is not fit for purpose in any way. He is having to rent a vehicle in the mean time to commute to his two jobs. BR Leeds unwilling to take the car back, trading standards and citizens advice unable to help and now he is having to work extra shifts to pay a solicitor an absurd amount to enter into legal proceedings. He's had his Christmas and new year ruined by this issue and no one will talk to him about getting this sorted out. I wouldn't recommend Bennett Renault Leeds if you are a cash buyer as they appear to have no after sales service and no interest in consumer law / 30 days right to reject.
