Stay clear - so many red flags

Absolutely appalling service from an aggressive and argumentative staff member. We looked at a C3 on cash buying basis, test drove it, liked it, was willing to make a deal. The spare wheel was missing, the spare key did not work and there was some minor damage and no tax. All in we decided to start off at £1k cheaper than the asking price bearing in mind to sort all of the above would be about £800. The salesman immediately started to argue, accused us of wasting his time and was very rude and extremely aggressive. We expected some negotiation and maybe settling on £500 off the asking price but he refused to negotiate at all. Even when it was clear that we would not reach an agreement he kept pushing and tried to stop us leaving to prove his point. Both my partner and I were furious. Some of the card in the forecourt had bodywork damage or were filthy. I bought my last car here 8 years ago and they were so professional, which is why I went back. We would not touch them again out of principle about how awful this man was. He kept saying things like “well why do you need two working keys?” He didn’t seem to understand that if you’re spending a lot of money on a big purchase you want things to work. Blagged about a FSH and refused to discuss any of the points we raised. Will never use this garage again.
