AVOID!!!

AVOID!! If you see a car you like with these guys please consider my misfortune your due diligence and find something else. I bought a BMW M4 Comp from these guys and it's a mess... It all started the day I collected it, 2 badly corroded alloys, a stone chip on the drivers door the size of a 5p which was touched in a different colour, cracks in the paint on the front bumper... this was just the stuff I could see, and none of which was mentioned on their advert. I thought it was odd when I arrived at the dealer and I was asked to go to a house, which was a total pain to find and found the car was running... Once I got it home and was cold started there was a nasty squeaking noise from the belt, which I was told was replaced. So it was clearly left to warm up at the house so I wouldn't notice. Not only that but the second I got the car on the motorway to come home the EML came on, so a fault was obviously cleared enough for the handover, but as soon as I got to motorway speed it came straight back. Once I got the car home I had it checked over by my local BMW dealer, they found the car had a broken coil spring!! How did it pass an MOT? So now I had a car with an EML on, a nasty squeak on cold start and a broken coil spring, not to mention the bodywork and alloys! Oh and the Sat Nav doesn't work, just spins. BMW told me the EML was a dodgy O2 sensor which was replaced, but within a day the EML was back on, so it had the other O2 sensor replaced, this hasn't worked either and still today the EML is on. I am currently going through a rejection process with Alphera finance. Also during my ownership to date (8 months or so) I have had an alternator tensioner replaced, the serpentine belt, the coil spring, I have had the alloys refurbed and 2 O2 sensors, the car is still showing the EML. The guys at AA have now told me they are leaving it up to the finance team to deal with this? YOU SOLD ME A DODGY CAR!! Take it back!! I am so glad I did go through the finance as I would now be having to take them to court. Also when collecting the BMW, the owner thought it would be cool to show off his new 992 GT3 RS, a very nice car, but kind of rubs my nose in it now. They couldn't sell me a £30k BMW so I dread to think what they would be like selling a £150k+ Porsche, Urus or Cullinan... Hopefully they will do the right thing at some stage and take this back, but please take this as your research on this company and buy elsewhere!
