I purchased a car from this garage putting my old car in for part exchange. On driving the car home the engine management light came on and a warning light signalling to stop. I pulled over and found there was no coolant, I called the garage who said to turn back I was already late for collecting my daughter so had to carry on home (45 minutes away) . The next day I asked for my money back and the garage said they could collect it from me and repair it. I agreed to this. When I git the car back I was told that the thermostat housing had split and it would be fine, After having the car parked on my drive for a couple of days there was a puddle. I was told by a local garage that the car had multiple oil leaks and a coolant leak. I called the garage and asked for my money back or my old car back they refused even though under the consumer act I am entitled to a refund, they said I could take them to court knowing full well that being a working single parent I haven't the time or the money for that. The garage were unhelpful. Don't buy a car from Vicarage Autos.
