Never will I buy an "approved used" bmw

I will never buy an "approved used" bmw again. This near £16k purchase from bmw lookers stoke has been farcical for a low mileage 5 series (50k miles). -Upon collection wrong number plate had been fitted and removed with a screwdriver leaving witness marks on the front bumper. I let this go. -car was peppered with mechanical and electrical faults, "approved used?!" Only 50% of the issues where covered by the useless 3 month warranty. Lookers stoke couldn't offer me a courtesy car, so they offered to pay for a taxi, then withdrew thier offer because I lived 1 hour away. In the end I had to sort it out myself and send it to a local bmw independent. Both rear airbags, airbag pump, aerial and electrical issues due to water in the shark fin, fuel sensor o ring common fault leaking diesal down ecu wiring loom. Front right hub previous accident damage causing brake discs to need replacing 3 times. I should have just given the car back straight away. £2k in repairs. -2 warranty recalls in the first 6 months of ownership, egr and airbag, with no financial compensation offered other than a £150 bmw voucher (enough to buy 5 litres of bmw oil?!). Inspected a £70k m3 estate in thier showroom to see the brake discs scored, lipped and heat tarnished, ragged from new and put on display for all (educated enthusiasts) to see. Awful customer service, rude arrogant and unhelpful. Just buy from a good private seller. Main dealers are not worth the premium. Next car will be japanese. These bmws are too complicated and the customer support is useless/energy draining.
