This dealer has operated under several names: Route 66, Lincs Sports Cars and now D&M Trading. All out of the same premises, same people, just different signs over the door. Judging by what I have read, the names are changed any time a lawsuit is brought against them. I went to look at 2 cars over the course of a year - both I chose not to buy. One was parked inside but so far towards the rear, it was clearly not ready to take out for a test drive, nor had it been valeted. The second vehicle - a BMW 6 series convertible - was of reasonable mileage and at a premium price at the time. The cream interior looked as it if it had been used for transporting sacks of coal, and had numerous small areas of trim damage, scratches as well as a high number of exterior stonechips. Upon raising the fabric roof, it was heavily covered in green mould/moss, where it had obviously been outdoors in a damp environment and not cleaned or properly prepared for sale. On both occasions the car I took along for p/ex was in far better cosmetic and (probably) mechanical condition as from the visual evidence, both vehicles that I viewed had not been well cared for and certainly not detailed in order to appeal to buyers.
