STONEACRE FIAT DERBY! AVOID AVOID AVOID! Cinch chose this garage to complete repairs on our newly purchased car. Let's start with personnel, Dan on service reception was a complete let down from the moment we met him. He was rude to my wife when collecting the courtesy car. His people handling skills didn't get any better when speaking with me when I had to constantly chase for updates as he never and I mean never called me with updates he promised. Also be prepared to hang on the line for 15 minutes before it tells you they can't take your call and cuts you off. Dan then gave us information regarding repairs that was not accurate and said the car was being fixed under Fiat warranty when I new the warranty had expired. He also told us Fiat would supply us a like for like electric car when that was not correct. Dan constantly made mistakes and gave us no confidence in his service. I complained to his manager who also lied to me and when I reminded him of our conversation he still denied it. He loved to tell you he had 30 years experience but his short term memory seems to be very poor like his service department. Now the technicians could not work out the software issues. I joined a Fiat forum and found it was known issues and I found the updates needed to resolve. I then had to email them to the garage. Why can't the garage have this information?? Useless no interest in doing a proper investigation. They just want to bill you for more labour hours a complete joke. I escalated my complaints to the regional manager and asked for feedback after his investigation. You guessed it I never heard from him! Save yourself the stress and over priced labour repairs find a reliable garage. Peter.
