Terrible service twice!

First time I used this dealership was last Christmas (2023), I had a faulty charging cable for a 6 month old XC60. Rather than give me a replacement they said they had to check it, After numerous calls and being fobbed off, I went to the dealership nearly 3 weeks later and they went and got me a new charger from somewhere. They had clearly done nothing about it. I seemed to be inconveniencing them. I didn't leave a bad review at the time as I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward to October 2024, same Volvo would not start (was on drive), called Volvo assist, they arrived promptly and couldn't resolve the issue so arranged for the vehicle to be recovered and sorted a replacement car with Enterprise who were also very good. Vehicle was recovered to Volvo Stockport. This is on Saturday 12th Oct 2024, Called the dealership on Monday, they had no idea they had the car since Saturday, They did find it on their forecourt and registered it, I got a text to bring it in the following day (they already had it), I asked them to add on a service (car leased through Lex) and to sort whatever the issue was. No updates from Stockport Volvo so called Tuesday, Issue was a part that must come from Sweden apparently, ok fine, it would hopefully be done by Monday latest, checked re service, told it was booked in. Made follow up calls during the week as nothing proactive coming from Volvo, checked service booked and told it was. Got to the following Monday and was told car would be ready, asked about the service and was told it hadn't been booked and they needed to get approval from Lex. I had returned my courtesy car by this point as told car would have been done, Told car would be ready Tuesday. Went in and picked up car around 2.30pm after calling them. Was told I had been sent a text saying the car was ready. I had no text nor for the previous times they had apparently texted. The number was correct as they sent me one text on Monday 5 mins before I was due to pick the car up saying car wasn't ready. Not a big deal but car wasn't cleaned either, maybe that's just something that every other dealership does. I have used Volvo Widness on one occasion for the first service, they were great, cleaned car and kept me upto date. I do however live in Stockport so would rather use my local Volvo Stockport. They either tell bare faced lies are incompetent or a combination of the two. Absolutely useless! Avoid like the plague
