AVOID Shef Motors!

My daughter bought a car from this "gentleman" and promised it would have a full MOT and she bought an extended 6 month warranty as she didn't want issues with the car as she was due to have a baby in October. The car was delivered and oddly enough had issues that were supposedly fixed after it had failed the MOT which it had then magically passed a few hours later. She called to ask for how to get the warranty company to deal with it and he promised to send out the paperwork for it. Time went by and no paperwork then she had more urgent things to focus on, mainly having a baby. After the birth she asked me to contact Shef to get the warranty papers and suddenly it's not Shef anymore but David. Rather than apologise for the delay he said he would refund the extra she paid as long as we never contacted him again. I've seen bad customer service before but never this bad. To cut her losses we agreed to a refund of the warranty payment so now I have to get the faulty steering fixed which will come to more than the refund. To anyone thinking of buying from this outfit I would advise you to stay well away from them, they are rude, arrogant, aggressive and frankly untruthful in how they operate. I'm sure there are plenty of respectable and honest car traders out there, this one isn't one of them! It's just a shame that you can't give less than 1 star, minus 100 would be appropriate. I'm just sharing my honest opinion of this dealer after my first hand experiences with Shef Motors.
