Avoid, untrustworthy,

My grandson bought a car from RD Cars, it was sold without warranty and that is fine, it was an inexpensive vehicle. Sadly, it was sold with a major gearbox fault which became apparent the next day. Despite rejecting the vehicle under the 2015 Consumer Act which states cars must be fit for purpose, this one is not. The business have refused a refund which my grandson is legally entitled to, flying into a rage and yelling, 'take me to court, take me to court, no warranty, no warranty' The Consumer Rights Act came into force on 1 October 2015 and covers the purchase of new and used cars from dealers. Products must be: * Of satisfactory quality * Fit for purpose, and * As described The dealer must have the right to sell the vehicle and is liable for faults with the vehicle that were present at the time it was sold even though they may only become apparent later on.
