Three months after buying the car I noticed a tapping noise. I took it to my local garage who suspected something internal within the engine with a rough estimate of £1500-£2000 possible cost. I contacted the seller and wasn't pleased with the response which included driving the car back to Cardiff from Somerset when I said I'd been advised not to drive the car I was asked if I had breakdown cover! While I appreciate that cars develop faults I wasn't expecting something as major as this. The car comes with a 15 month warranty that covers a maximum of £750 so it will still be costly.
