AVOID!

Me and y girlfriend bought a Renault grand scenic from this place and it almost cost her her life. From day one the car didn't work, it would shudder heavily when moving and struggled to move off 90% of the time. Within 4 days I contacted the garage and was met with a 'Oh we wouldn't do anything about that try some engine cleaner' the guys attitude was abrupt and rude so we just wanted a car that worked. So we tried it with no resolve. We rang again and the same guy with the same bad attitude said we would need to bring the car to have it looked at and possibly fixed but would need to bring the car to them, I was OK with that as we just wanted a working car. A few hours after this call my girlfriend was driving the car on a busy hill when the gearbox just stopped dead almost causing an accident with my 4 year old in the car, the issue we told them multiple times about multiple times that they should have known about before the car was sold made the car dangerous to drive (this was 12 days into owing in the car) The car at this point could barely move off without violent shaking and was dangerous to drive. the owner of this business said we needed to PAY £250 for a tow truck to get the faulty vehicle to them so they can fix it. I told them that wasn't good enough and they accepted the car back. Now, however despite the car being returned in EXACTLY the same condition as it was purchased in (with photos backing this up) they have made a £300 deduction off the return value to spite us. So in a nutshell this business does not check their vehicles are run to a decent standard, they do not handle complaints well and when they have a returned vehicle that almost killed one of their customers and child they steal £300 off of them Avoid these like the plague.
