Buyer beware, Honest review

Buyer beware, I bought a 2005 Nissan Primera from Low Miles Motors, on the 5th September 2024. I felt pressured to buy this car from the minute I rang Low Mile Motors LTD. Sami told me he was going on hoilday on Thursday and wanted a quick sale. I told him I would wait until he got back off hoilday, but he informed me the price would go up by a few hundred pounds when he got back. Sami offered to drive the car to Liverpool for me from Sheffield at a cost of £1.50 mile. We agreed the car would be brought to me at 7pm on Wednesday 5th September 2024, ensuring I had both adequate day light and time to view the car. Sami arrived at 7.50pm, with two companions in another car, just as the sun was setting. I than felt pressured to test drive the car without inspecting it first. On my first long drive with car Saturday 8th September 2024, the engine management light came on. I spoke to Sami and he advised i took the car to my local garage, to be diagnosed, it had a P0420 catalyst Efficiency Low Bank 1 fault. I contacted Sami about this and asked what he would like to do. Sami has refused to repair or refund the car. Trading standers informed that I have 30 days, from the date of payment, under the consumer act 2015, to be issued with a full refund, repair or a replacement. I informed Sami of my rights, but he is refusing to do any of the above, resulting in me having to contact trading standers and issue court proceedings.
