Bad service... such a pity!

We are a family of 5 from Austria, on holiday with a 2021 Renault Trafic bus in Scotland. On the road to Glencoe, a too fast driving German car drove off our right hand side wing mirror. The first Renault we found was on the Isle of Lewis. He suggested to contact a Renault dealer on the mainland, on our way back. He would help us, but we only had one day left on lewis. So he suggested the Renault in Perth or Stirling. They would have the mirror in one day and fix it.... NO. We emailed and called the Renault dealer Arnold Clark a few times. First through their website, where one can also book an appointment. However, this does not work, because our Renault does not have a UK licence plate registration. Then we emailed. The email was answered, telling us, they were the wrong person to email to, we had to call a different number. We did and the disappointing answer was: yes, we have the mirrow, you can buy it, but according to "our system" there was no possibility to attach the mirror until Sept. 9, 5 days after we spoke with them!!! Nothing was possible, although it is quite risky to drive without a wing mirror. No, we cannot help you - Thank you!!! Then we called a Renault dealer in The Netherlands, Renault Zeeuw & Zeeuw in The Hague and they said: What a nonsense, we offer better service then Arnold Clark does! We have the right wing mirror available and of course we will fix it for you, that is 3 screws and 15 minutes!. So after our return to the European mainland with the DFDS ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam, we drove to the Renault garage. They served us nice coffee and hot chocolate for the kids, fixed the mirror and withing 25 minutes, we were on our way to our home in Austria. THAT is SERVICE! Probably Arnold Clark does not like EU people in their garage, even though we drive a fairly new Renault, our 5th Renault car. But then, I think Arnold Clark sells everything they can sell, not a real Renault dealer with good service, just an ordinary any-car dealer.... suchg a pity. Yes, we have your mirro, buy it and fix it yourself. Thank you, but no thank you! Oh yes, Renault has an online service website, called "Just Ask". First pay 5 pounds, then send a question, then get a useless answer. The answer was: go to Arnold Clark, buy the mirror and find another garage to fix it for you...... Then, for a better service,: pay 11 pounds and talk to an actualk person, who we surely help you with any problem! ha ha ha.....
