2 years of stress, expense, and excuses

I purchased a Peugeot 208 in September 2022 and have since dealt with the Newtown and Wrexham branches. Within 18 months I've needed a new wheel bearing, new rear and front breaks, a new timing belt, something to do with a solonoid (I'm no car expert) and was told, despite my car now needing a new engine due to an oil leak, that my car was consuming a normal amount of oil. Some cars are nightmare cars, I accept this, but the customer service was abysmal. No care for the customer, patronising service teams, and a lack of knowledge. A manager (aka politician) will then phone you to patch things up but you can't get a word in edgeways; they're too busy making excuses and false promises. Not to mention waiting months to get anything done. Following a repair I had I also asked them to complete my MOT. I was informed this has been done but months later found out (due to another breakdown, shock) that they infact lied or failed to do so and I'd been driving around illegaly without one. So unimpressed that, despite purchasing an extended warranty (spoticar, not worth the paper it's written on), I paid for work to be done elsewhere, that would have been covered, because I didn't want Arthurs touching my vehicle again. I'm surprised they're so busy given that everyone I talk to seems to share my opinion of them. I've had to purchase a new car and would never touch Arthurs again. A truly disgusting and dishonest company.
