Customer Service at its Best

After 3 hours of trawling (and being largely ignored by staff who didn't seem interested in selling cars) around showrooms in middlesbrough, we decided to have one last shot and travelled up the road to Redcar. The minute we stepped on to the Forecourt of Drive vauxhal Redcarl (in the pouring rain) we were approached by a young member of staff who immediately offered us an umbrella to use while browsing (customer service at its best). The young man introduced himself to my wife and I as Flynn and said he would leave us to browse, but if we needed any help or information to just let him know. I explained what we were looking for , budget etc and Flynn happily took us around the forecourt showing us the different vehicles and demonstrating his knowledge of each car with a detailed explanation on each car we looked at. We picked out a Grandland X and Flynn immediately offered me the opportunity to test drive the car, he took us into the showroom and gave us a seat while he went off to sort the paperwork and plates. While we were waiting, another member of the Sales Manager, Dean, introduced himself. and continued to look after us and made us a cup of tea. Flynn returned and took me out for an extensive test drive, resulting in the sale of the car. On return, Flynn very thoroughly took us through every detail of the conditions of sale, answering any questions we had and clarifying any queries. Meanwhile, Dean was busy sorting out and putting together a great service plan and warranty for us. What started as a frustrating last look around at cars turned into my best ever experience of buying a used car. Flynn, and Dean couldn't do enough for us. they were polite, courteous, and professional throughout the sale, and we had a good laugh about a few things afterwards. genuinely friendly lads. I can honestly recommend that if you're looking for a new / used car, go and see these lads you will not be disappointed. See you in 6 months 😉 Thanks Guys.
