Car sold to us was mechanically a write off - would not recommend!! As soon as car driven down the road after purchase the oil light came on. Went back to dealer he topped it up. Next day saw oil leaks on home driveway. Dealer arranged for it to to go to garage he uses so had to take all the way to Luton. Got car back 2 days later and apparently fixed. Again oil leaking so had to take all the way to the garage again. Then the so called mechanics admitted not done properly so had to re - do. no oil leak now. Then one week later when driving on the motorway warning light came on saying engine failed stop! had to wait on hard shoulder 1 hour for car to be recovered by own breakdown cover. On inspection they found no oil left, all fuel had leaked out, crank shaft rod gone out to side, connecting rod was out to the side, big hole in the engine which had been covered up which mechanic stated was there before sold to us and seller would have been aware!! and car would not mechanically move so nothing they could do. We had to pay £220 to get the car recovery service to return the car to the dealer for refund - because we were still in consumer right period for refund of 30 days. Otherwise we would have lost out on this. We are already way out of pocket!
