Appalling!

Purchased Golf GTI, what a mistake. Oil light and TPMS light came on when driving it home after 40 miles. Had to put oil in the car as on minimum and reset TPMS. No water in washers either. After 2 weeks oil light came on again so put into local garage who found the following: 1) Sump plug had mastic around it to stop it leaking 2) Both front wheels had been welded on the inside 3 times 3) OBD fault codes a plenty This car was sold to me after having undergone an 82 point check, MOT and Gearbox service, and I am to believe that they were not aware of the issues? Not given RAC warranty or Breakdown cover Steve the salesman says “ as not extend warranty not get it” more lies and dishonesty. They did sort the oil issue, but put 860 miles on the clock to do so, no compensation. If you want my advice like so many others steer clear of this Company or be prepared for grief.
