Sold vehicle to another customer!

AVOID! POOR SERVICE WITH NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER! Viewed a vehicle on a Saturday, provided a £1000 deposit. Financing elsewhere as it was cheaper due to the dealers high APR. The salesman I was dealing with prior to viewing was on leave, instead I was served by a rude & cocky salesman with a massive ego, and not to forget, an answer for everything!! Name I can’t remember, sure it began with a K! Agreed that I wasn’t in a rush to collect the car, by the end of month would be perfect which was a week roughly from placing deposit. I advised mr cocky salesman that I had a tight schedule with work due to redundancies within the business I had to manage for the next week. I kept in touch with the original salesman DAILY via phone and what’s app, so he knew where I was upto. Anyway, after 4 working days, yes Thursday, they decided to sell the vehicle to someone else without making me aware, or even having the decency to ring me and push me to complete! Apparently the new party was a long standing customer who was buying the vehicle for a family member! I only found out about this when I contacted the dealer as agreed on the Friday morning to confirm the finance was going to be paid and when could I collect! My finance company even called them to confirm this! It appears this dealership have simply decided to sell the vehicle to someone they have a “long term” relationship with, instead of following the process and contact we had together when they requested my deposit to be paid! No timescales were provide by the dealer, or t&cs around timescales to complete/collect, utterly appalling service! Credit checks and finance all setup on a vehicle which now im not going ahead with! No communication at all re the matter, then had the cheek to sell the vehicle to someone else! Utter shambles this dealer! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY, THEY DONT PUT THE CUSTOMER AT THE CENTRE OF SALE AT ALL!
