Avoid , cars are not road worthy!
I wouldn’t give a single star if I could absolutely disguising service and the car is unsafe! This place has caused me nothing but stress! I bought a car earlier this year in March, within 14 days it broke down with me and my 6 month old son in the car! What should of been a ten minute trip turned into hours of trying to get back home, The car was stuck in limp mode and couldn’t go faster than 13 mph , battery light was flashing , it has been charged twice once in the first 14 days of owning the vehicle, the red check engine light was flashing constant and flashing up on the centre console informing me the vehicle needed repair. I tried to speak with Steve and only went round in circles, he offered me nothing in writing about fixing the car and when I asked for my money back, changed the subject or would make empty promises. I went to pay for my own diagnostic and booked it in the garage myself , the garage felt sorry for me they did the diagnostic and didn’t charge me, that is customer service! The garage told me the car needed to be taken to Peugeot as it was probably an ECU problem and was only running on 3 cylinders it is not a simple fix. When I explained this to steve he denied anything wrong with the car, and told me the diagnostic was “ a load of rubbish” there was a list as long as the A4 paper handed back to me with faults. I sent photos also to prove this! I explained my consumer rights and requested the car to be fixed or to have my money back this went on for three weeks and I got neither ! I reported him to trading standards and following citizens advice I sent two warning letters about court action and saying this could be rectified if he gave me the money back , I was even fair enough to offer mediation instead of court but even though both letters were signed for with evidence of being handed to the occupant , I got no response and they were sent back to sender, I am now proceeding with court action. Please do not make the same mistake I did, it is not worth the hassle to have cars that are unfit to drive and a dealership that acts as though they don’t want to remain in business due to negligence.
