Will never buy another Hyundai
The whole experience started off fine, which it normally does when someone is trying to sell you an expensive car. However, it's the aftersales experience which has left me feeling that I will never buy another Hyundai as long as I live. In summary, in the 5 years we've had the car (Tucson), it has been taken to the garage numerous times for various issues, the most common one being severe problems with the spark plugs. They kept failing and they didn't know why. They even accused us at one point of putting the wrong fuel in the car. They still don't really know what the issue was, but it's out of warranty now so now it won't be covered. The icing on the cake has been that the exhaust has just split in two, not because of our fault, but according to a local garage 'due to poor quality, it snapped cleanly in half.' So out of warranty (by a month) we now need to pay over £600 for a new exhaust on a 5 year old car.
