Appalling repair service

Car had a fault that immobilised it (broken ignition wire within steering column). Dealership made me feel like they were doing me a considerable favour to identify the fault and repair it in any reasonable time. On collection I was told that I should try to avoid adjusting the steering wheel. Today I made the mistake of ignoring this bizarre advice and the car became immobilised again. The roadside repair technician was hugely more helpful than the dealership and showed me the bodge that had been previously undertaken. Dealership service department has to be booked months in advance but not worth the wait.
