Not so good to resolve complex faults!

I purchased a vehicle from Lexus Leicester in Aug 2023. The sale process was very friendly and pleasant. Upon collection of the vehicle, within days, I discovered a fault and reported this to the dealership immediately; to date, the vehicle has been to the dealership for investigation a few times and whilst being confirmed/identified, the fault, hasn't been resolved as this would require a process of elimination to resolve the fault and could cost them handsomely, hence, as of this morning, they have washed their hands off this as it is costing them too much. Would the top execs at this dealership accept being sold a vehicle with a fault? Buyers - please beware that should you purchase a car from there that has a slightly more tricky fault to diagnose and resolve, they will wash their hands off you and leave you with a faulty car.
