Worst Car I Ever Bought..

I bought a Golf GTD with low mileage and service history for top book price in September 2023. A VW dealer informed me the dpf filter had been removed because the car had been remapped. These people sold me a 6 month RAC warranty for £200. The car required a rear O/S brake caliper and discs and pads in November 2023, and in January 2024 required a N/S brake caliper and timing belt change due to worn tensioners. The warranty company would not pay because diagnostics showed the car has been remapped! This company sold me a remapped car and then sold me a 6 month warranty which was worthless from day one. I have also been advised this car has been in a front end collision and accident repaired! Because of the faulty N/S brake caliper I had to pay for another new set of rear discs and pads!! So far I have spent about £3000 on this car, no wonder these guys kept quiet about it. They are the least talkative car salesmen I have ever encountered in 40 years of buying cars! They were extremely quiet about this car, and it should have been a huge red flag. Make sure everything works before you buy a car from these people, and I mean absolutely everything. Take a mechanic with you and don't trust these people or you will be ripped off like I was. The car has extreme wind noise over 60 mph which I was not aware of before buying. These guys are based in a remote village in the middle of nowhere so a test drive beyond 60 mph is not legally possible. On Companies House JC Cars was dissolved in January 2023. These cowboys sell cars from their home address in Misterton and are trading by various names including Doncaster Autos and Milap Motors.
