Sold with faulty part
4 days post buying a van from this dealer it displayed engine light followed buy service and oil lights. After haven been told it has a full service history in the glove box to then it’s not in there and will have to wait till we are booked into the garage to see it.. (obstructing myself from finding out they had lied and it had a year missing 10-30% reduction in value for a partial service history..) after working out for myself I could access it myself through their app… offered a free service to make up for it … Had a almost 3 month wait for their next one day appointment… issues then came back and has been in a future 2 more times (which they had Availability to get me in the following week for a week with a courtesy van!) on the same issue.. husband has since rang and been Promised from a manger on going issues are covered post warranty and that they would provide this in writing. 4 days later still nothing rings again get told to wait for a call from the mangers manger still no call back days later… Start a online chat today and only then have been provided a link for complaints department so they’ll have a record of it.. Have been told DPF may need replacing but won’t be in warranty because it’s under wear and tear yet 4 days is definitely not wear and tear especially after they had it sitting for months before being sold… Financial ombudsman case started, it’s been 6 months and they still haven’t sorted an issue that it was sold under a ford used approved… Terrible communication have had trips made to collect my van and be turned around cause they hadn’t phoned me to update they had extend the courtesy van as they had to order a part after saying the van was only available for the day see you later.. Me and my husband work 7 days a week and have now lost out on work, had 4 round trips back to the garage to be ignored. Have both always had fords and told others to right way to go about getting people to boycott them.
