No warranty refund
About 6 months ago we purchased a fiesta 21 plate , 16000 miles only, it’s been very unreliable ,battery would not charge up, so we had to call AA out to get into the car and start it for us, 2weeks later ,gone again , my wife had lost faith in it and so we went to the garage to see if we could return the fiesta and see what can be done , and saw they had new puma deals on , so she thought okay instead of this faulty fiesta she would buy a puma, , we asked about what we had paid £895 up front for the warranty , so can we get a refund as the fiesta was so unreliable never knowing if you are going to get it unlocked as battery could be flat again , no trust in it at all…. We were told to ring Emac the warranty provider who at first said No refund as it was past the 14 day rule in the terms and conditions, so I left a negative review for them and next day the maintenance manager rang me to say I can have a refund because our car was unreliable and faulty, so that’s a different matter, so he told me to tell OMC Accrington to send them (emac) a email authorising a refund , but we were told NO as we were past the 14 days ,which is irrelevant really as if the fiesta was ok ,none of this would have happened! So we paid £895 up front instead of monthly payments omc have kept at least £745.00 of our money when you take off £150 for 6 months of a faulty car, , you know me and my wife have had about 6 brand new cars from this garage never had. Problem before granted. But it’s disgusting that OMC will not return our refund to us , , won’t buy a car from them again , and even our email to Omc head office at Oldham about it , even they never answered it or rang us about our plight, , if you’re going to buy a warranty from omc, be very wary , and I would look online at warranty web sites to cover your car ,, thing is the same fiesta is back on sale for £3000 more than we got for trade in, another ripoff. for 2000 miles put on ,now 18000 miles fiesta DS21 EPZ grey , faulty !
