Edited after ownership of the car for 2 months.. Please save yourself some money and go elsewhere. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Which is a shame as it all looked positive at first. My first warning should have been the lady that came into the office to pick her car up after a few weeks of owning it and she had issues with her car too. I bought the car on 20th April 2024, I first experience a problem with the car on 2nd May 2024, I noticed it was leaking oil. This got increasingly worse. I spoke to Jono at Vouge Motor Company and he asked me to go through the warranty (dispite owning this less than a month). The warranty company sent me a link to garages in my area however no one would fit it in for 3-4 weeks and as the oil that was leaking from the car became increasingly worse, I couldn’t wait that long. A lot of garages, due to the car it is (Mercedes A45) wouldn’t touch it. I ended up getting my local garage to have a look at the car, upon inspection, they told me I am not to drive the vehicle, Vouge Motor Company then had the vehicle recovered and taken to their garage. I have attached pictures of what my garage found (flooded turbo) they think this was down to the wrong oil being put in the vehicle, Vouge Motor Group and the garage they use, advise it wasn’t anything to do with the oil, it was something to do with the crankshaft? Anyway, they said it would take a week for the vehicle to be fixed and returned to me. It was much longer than a week, it was recovered by them on 9th May 2024 and returned to me on 24th May 2024. Due to not having a vehicle I was unable to get to and from work so I didn’t get paid for all of this time off. The car being returned to me cost me £250 at my own expense as if I didn’t pay them to drop it off on 24th May 2024, it would have been Tuesday 28th May 2024 that they would then be able to get the car to me and I couldn’t wait that long. As I was paying, I requested the car to be put on a recovery truck to be brought back to me as I didn’t want anyone else driving the car as it is 80 miles away from my home. After a few hours of paying Vouge Motor Company rang me to tell me it “won’t go on the recovery truck” despite it going on one down to them? Make it make sense … Anyway, I asked them whilst they was doing the work as they was fixing the turbo, to give me paperwork for the warrenty on it. No paperwork was issued and I have chased Vouge Motor Company for them to send this to me for weeks now. I also noticed too since having the vehicle back within the first few days the car jolts occasionally when it changes gears (it’s automatic) the jolts are still happening and are quite worrying however no one from Vouge Motor Company want to know. ——————————————————————— Initial review on purchase: Great experience with Vogue Motor Company, I dealt with Jono, he was really helpful and professional. I called up enquiring about a vehicle I was interested in and within 24 hours I had finance agreed and was in my new vehicle. He made the process very quick, easy and stress free. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone wanting a quick and stress free car purchase! Thank you so much, I love my new car! :)
