Prospective Buyers Beware

My NHS working daughter contacted the proprietor of Great Western Garage on Thursday 20 June 2024 regarding the purchase of a 2005 Mitsubishi Colt. She explained that she wouldn't be able to view the vehicle until the weekend and would he accept a refundable deposit? (She was intending to travel from Plymouth to Barnstable to view the vehicle on the Saturday) He told her not to worry and that he would "hold it for her".......And guess what? Yes he sold the Mitsubishi to someone else WITHOUT having the courtesy to even contact my daughter to check if she was still interested in it, or to ask her for any kind of deposit - or to even inform her it was sold! Disgraceful and unprofessional customer service! Like I said, "Buyers Beware!".......
