Never use Grangemouth -bunch of jokers

Bought an E class couple of weeks ago from Grangemouth (over £25 k) took round to my own mechanic for a quick check over - 10 diagnostic faults , 2 pressure caps missing all tyre pressures wrong ,no tyre inflation kit and on checking tyres - road x tyres , very budget not suitable for car at all but biggest thing was a faulty exhaust ! Phoned straightaway and they said that was the tyres supplied on all the mercedes going out ! Bring the car down and they will look at exhaust . Asked for refund as not happy but they wanted to look at car first. Agreed it needed new exhaust would take a week ,the 10 other faults where old faults and nothing wrong with the car ,after that it was a battle , they don't return calls ( had only had the car a day by this point) emailed Len Cocozza CEO in there and demanded refund , he refused said it would be fixed .Not even an apology off him . So really you have no rights when it comes to this lot . Got in touch with merc head office and they done nothing but say garage says nothing wrong with the car , bunch of liars . Eventually got car back , still no tyre inflation kit had to actually go in and make a fuss to get one ! Car now has blue paint scuffs inside passenger door but they deny this as-well. Had to buy 4 decent tyres from Skidz in Falkirk at a cost of £900 the very next day as my car was sliding all over the place in the wet. So basically car was not checked but a quick valet before selling on . Our whole family and lots of friends have Mercs but none of us will be buying ever again after this fiasco . Merc used to have very high standards and great aftercare but now the worst I have ever came across . This is now with Motor ombudsman to look at .
